1 Mounting the xFUME ROBO suction nozzle and xFUME ROBO retaining disc

1 Attach the compatible insulating sleeve for the xFUME suction nozzle (1) on the outer tube of the welding torch neck
(insulating sleeve for welding torch ABIROB A500, ABIROB W500 or ABIROB W600).
Use the two M4x10 cylinder head screws to attach the xFUME ROBO suction nozzle (top and bottom parts) (2) to the
insulating sleeve for the xFUME suction nozzle (1).
Depending on the welding torch type, it may be necessary to attach the xFUME ROBO suction nozzle to the welding
torch neck at a slight angle.
2 Insert two xFUME ROBO connection sleeves (4) for hose DN16 into the bottom part of
the xFUME ROBO retaining disc (3).
Use the two M5x16 cylinder head screws to attach the xFUME ROBO retaining disc (top and bottom parts) (3)
to the welding torch interface of the cable assembly. Do so directly at the rear of the welding torch holder.
2 Mounting hose DN16 between the xFUME ROBO suction nozzle and xFUME ROBO retaining disc

1 Measure the distance between the xFUME ROBO suction nozzle and the xFUME ROBO connection sleeve and
add another 3 to 4 cm onto this.
Then cut hose DN16 into two sections of the corresponding length.
2 Slide two xFUME ROBO plug-in connections into the ends of the divided hose DN16.
3 Pull the front hose openings over the connections on the xFUME ROBO suction nozzle.
Insert the hose openings with the xFUME ROBO plug-in connections into the xFUME ROBO connection sleeve
on the xFUME ROBO retaining disc.
3 Mounting hose DN25 between the xFUME ROBO retaining disc and the xFUME ROBO Y
distributor D50/D25

1 Divide hose DN25 into two sections of the same length (approx. 50 cm).
2 Use the four galvanised gripping clamps to attach the sections of hose to xFUME ROBO connection sleeves in
the xFUME ROBO retaining disk and to the xFUME ROBO Y distributor D50/D25.
NOTICE
• Use flat-nose pliers to mount the galvanised gripping clamps.
• Use the flat-nose pliers to press the upper clamps of the gripping clamps together and slide the expanded gripping
clamp slightly over hose DN25. Then pull one side of the hose with the expanded gripping clamp over
the xFUME ROBO connection sleeve in the xFUME ROBO complete retaining disc.
Next, open the flat-nose pliers to tighten the gripping clamp. Attach the other side of the hose to
the xFUME ROBO Y distributor D50/D25 the same way.

1 Screw hose 70, black DN 45 R into the connection sleeve for hose DN 45 R until it fits into place.
2 Slide the hose clamp over the other end of the connection sleeve for hose DN 45 R.
Attach the connection sleeve for hose DN 45 R with the hose clamp to the xFUME ROBO Y distributor D50/D25.
