4. Place an oil pan under the engine. Tilt the genera-
tor to drain the oil completely.
TIP
When dispose of the used engine oil, always comply
with the local laws or regulations to protect the envi-
ronment.

5. Check the oil filler cap and O-ring. Replace them
if damaged.
6. Place the generator on a level surface.
7. Add engine oil to the correct level.
NOTICE
9 Do not tilt the generator when adding engine
oil. This could result in overfilling and damage
to the engine.
