IMPORTANT
WARNINGS
This manual contains the instructions for a
correct installation of the electrical and elec-
tronic equipment purchased by you.
The owner of an electrical and electronic
equipment must ensure that this documen-
tation is carefully read and understood by
all welding operators, by their co-operators
and by the technical personnel performing
the maintenance.
Warning! Even when the ON/OFF switch is
on the "0" position the unit and the power
cable are energized. Therefore, before any
internal maintenance operation ensure that
the unit is disconnected from the mains.
Never use an electrical and electronic
equipment with its cover panel removed.
This may be dangerous for the operator and
could cause serious damage to the unit.
THIS WELDER CAN BE USED ONLY
WITH DIESEL GENERATING SETS WITH
POWER HIGHER THAN 6 kVA AT 230V
50/60 HZ.
1.0 INTRODUCTION
1.1 EQUIPMENT IDENTIFICATION
The unit's identification number (specification
or part number) model, and serial number
appear on a nameplate attached to the co-

a control panel such as cable assemblies
is identified only by the specification or part
number printed on the shipping container.
Record these numbers for future reference.
1.2 RECEIPT OF EQUIPMENT
When you receive the equipment, compare
it with the invoice to make sure it is complete
and inspect the equipment for possible dama-
ge due to shipping. All machines dispatched
have been scrupulously checked. However,
should your machine not work properly, con-
sult the section on TROUBLE SHOOTING in
this manual. If the fault persists, consult your
authorized dealer.
