WARNINGS
· WARNING: Read this user manual
carefully and save it for future refer-
ence. Not adhering to these instruc-
tions can be seriously detrimental to
the safety of your child.
· WARNING: You are personally respon-
sible for the safety of your child.
· WARNING: Never leave your child
unattended.
· WARNING: This product is suitable for
transporting two children. Both seats
are suitable for a child up to 33 lbs.
The maximum total weight is there-
fore 66 lbs.
. WARNING: A shopping basket is
located between the wheels under-
neath the frame. The basket's maxi-
mum load capacity is 11 lbs.
· WARNING: Exceeding the maximum
load will cause a hazardous unstable
condition to exist.
· WARNING: Only use each seat for one
child at a time.
· WARNING: You can only position the
duoseat frame on the frame in one
direction. This direction is shown in
figure 1.
· WARNING: Place the front seat such
that the protective edge (at the bottom
of the front seat) is placed in between
the support construction of the frame
(F) and the rear seat.
· WARNING: The front seat is not suit-
able for children younger than 6
months.
· WARNING: The rear seat is unsuitable
for children under 6 months of age,
except when used in combination with
the footmuff.
· WARNING: In order to use seat 02 in
a horizontal position, release the 2
fastening clips at the bottom of seat
02 and attach the safety belt firmly as
indicated in the instructions. Ensure
that the seat is held firmly in place
and cannot be moved!
If you are not using the duoseat in
the horizontal position, always check
whether all safety clips have been
securely engaged.
· WARNING: When putting your children
in or taking them out of the duoseat,

make sure the weight is evenly distrib-
uted and the pushchair remains stable
and does not tip over. If the pushchair
is used for a single child, place your
child in the front seat. If you use the
duoseat for two children, place the
heavier child in the front seat before
placing the second child in the rear
seat. When you remove the children
from the duoseat, first remove the
lighter child from the rear seat.
· WARNING: Always ensure the stroller
brake is on when put your children
into the seats.
· WARNING: Parcel bags or other acces-
sory items or both, other than recom-
mended by the manufacturer, placed
on the product may cause the product
to become unstable.
· WARNING: Avoid serious injury from
falling or sliding out. Always strap your
child into the 5-point safety harness,
including the strap between the legs.
· WARNING: Always check that all the
locking mechanisms are properly se-
cured before you use the pushchair.
· WARNING: Always check that the
back adjustment is properly fixed in
place! (You can do this by testing
whether the seat can be adjusted cor-
rectly)
· WARNING: This product is not suit-
able for running or skating.
· WARNING: When you use the Mutsy
duoseat in combination with the
Urban Rider, never use the small
swivel wheels.
· WARNING: You can only use the Duo-
seat in combination with the Mutsy
4Rider and the Mutsy Urban Rider
from the 2003 Collection.
· The Mutsy duoseat was approved
a ccording to the ASTM F833-09
s tandard.
Points of attention
· Use only original Mutsy accessories.
· No alterations should be made to the
product. If you have any complaints
or problems, please contact your sup-
plier or importer.
· All references in the text to left, right,
front and rear are defined with the
user standing behind the pushchair
