hOw tO uSE

First use
• T ake the appliance and accessories out the box. 
Remove the stickers, protective foil or plastic from the device.
• C heck if the voltage of the appliance corresponds to the main voltage
of your home. Rated voltage: 220-240V~ 50Hz.
• B efore the first use boil a full kettle of water to clean the kettle and
discard this water.

• A lways remove the kettle from the base (No. E) when filling it,
this to avoid water dripping into the base.
• M ake sure the water level never overload the maximum level marker.
• I f insufficient water is used, the kettle will switch off, with too much water it
may boil over. Switch the device on by pressing at the on/off switch (No. B).
The indicator lamp (No. D) will be illuminated. Once the water has boiled,
the on/off switch returns automatically to the off position.
• I f the appliance is accidentally switched on when empty, the boil-dry
protection will automatically switch it off. Adding cool water will cool
the boil-dry protection mechanism which enables you to use the kettle
as normal.

cleaning of the device
• R emove the plug from the outlet and allow the unit to cool down
completely before cleaning.
• T he outside of the kettle can be wiped down with a damp cloth.

Never use metal polish.

• T he base should always be cleaned without water.
• N ever immerse the kettle and base in water or any other liquids.

• T he device should be regularly decalcified. Use a descaling product
which is suitable for household appliances.
E
• R inse the kettle several times with clean water after descaling.
GuARANtEE
• T his appliances is covered with a 24 month guarantee starting on
the date of purchase (receipt).
• D amage caused by not following the instruction manual, will lead to
a void of warranty, if this results in consequential damages Tristar
will not be liable.
• T ristar will not be liable for material damage or personal injury caused
by improper use or if the safety instruction are not properly executed.
• O ther then cleaning, as mentioned in this manual, is the only maintenance
that is necessary for this appliances.
• W hen the application should be repaired, make sure that this will be
preformed by an authorized company.
• T his appliance may not be amended or changed.
• I f problems arise during the 24 months from the date of purchase,
which are covered by the factory warranty, you can go back to the point
of purchase to replace it for a new one.
• O nly material or manufacturing defects are included in this warranty.
