cycling, climbing stairs and doing housework contribute greatly to movement. The
activity sensor allows evaluating and objectively recording daily physical activity. It
is possible that you also feel motivated to increase physical activity in everyday life.
The ideal daily program should include 7,000 - 10,000 steps or 30 minutes of activity.

How does the activity sensor record the steps?
The activity sensor continuously records physical activity thanks to a built-in 3D sen-
sor. All body movements are interpreted as steps. The indication of the route travelled
may therefore differ from the actual journey.
How can the activity/sleep data be evaluated?
The Bluetooth® interface of the activity sensor allows transmitting stored data to a
smartphone )AndroidTM and iOS) where they can be evaluated. Just download the
free "Medel Health Check" app on your smartphone. The activity sensor uses Blueto-
oth® low energy technology, 2.4 GHz frequency band.
How are data synchronised with the app?
To transmit the recorded data from the activity sensor to the "Medel Health Check"
app, follow the instructions in chapter "5. Data transmission to the smartphone ".
