age tank.
Selector for setting the parameters (for modes A, b and c):
used during the calibration and programming phase.

the
key is used to select the type of operation required:
when it is pressed, the "function selection" indicator

ance operating status.
Ignition and operation
Preliminary checks
first ignition is carried out by competent personnel from an authorised
Technical Assistance Service beretta.
Before starting up the boiler, check:
a) that the supply networks data (electricity, water, gas) correspond to the
label data
b) that piping leaving the boiler is covered by a thermal insulation sheath
c) that flue gas extraction and air suction pipes work correctly
d) that conditions for regular maintenance are guaranteed if the boiler is
placed inside or between items of furniture
e) the seal of the fuel adduction system
f) that fuel delivery corresponds to values requested by the boiler
g) that the gas valve is calibrated correctly (if necessary, adjust it as ex-
plained in the "Adjustments" paragraph)
h) that the fuel supply system is sized to provide the correct delivery to
the boiler, and that it has all the safety and control devices prescribed
by current regulations.
Appliance ignition
To start-up the boiler it is necessary to carry out the following operations:
- access the gas tap via the slits in the couplings cover fixed to the lower
part of the boiler
- turn on the tap by rotating the knob anticlockwise, thereby activating the
fuel flow (Fig.1)
- power the boiler
Every time the boiler is powered, an automatic bleed cycle begins (lasting
about 2 minutes).
The display will visualise the letters "Sf" (Fig.2) and the function selection
indicators "
" will light up in sequence.
