Ring Tone Selection

The Detecta4 monitor lets you select different melodies for the calls received from the Outdoor Panel or the
Guard Unit (if present), so that you can easily distinguish where the call is from.
You can select from 5 different ring tones stored in the monitor's internal memory.

RING TONE SELECTION
When the ring tone selection code is entered, the three from LEDs blink quickly, indicating that the
monitor is in «Tone Selection» mode.
It is timed to stay in this mode for 1 minute. During this time, you can select the melodies corresponding
to each call type, either from Outdoor Panel or Guard Unit.
If you run out of time before making the selection, enter the code again to access the ring tone selection
mode.
Use the telephone buttons to select the ring tone for each type of call:
- Door release button: Press the button to select the ring tone from the Outdoor Panel.
Every time you press the button, you will hear a tune from those memorised in the monitor.
The last melody heard will be selected as the ring tone.
- 1 Auto-on button. Press the button to selct the call tone from the Outdoor Panel.
Every time you press the button, you will hear a tune from those memorised in the monitor.
The last melody heard will be selected as the ring tone.

- Multifunction button. Exit «Tune Selection» mode.
Note:
To be able to hear the ring tone, the telephone handset must be hung up.

Change Master Code

For enhanced security, we recommend you to change the initial Master Code (1234) to another personal and
private one. In this way, the monitor functions can only be accessed by the person or persons who know the
new Master Code.
