Monitor operation and general management
The monitor has a keypad with 15 keys (0..9,*,#,A,B,C), function buttons
and information LEDs (luminous indicators).
The basic keypad function is arming and disarming the alarms, as well as
configuring different monitor parameters.
The function buttons let you perform the basic advanced video entry
system functions: auto-on, open the door, call guard unit, activation of
auxiliary devices.
The LEDs (luminous indicators) provide information on the status and
operation of the monitor.
From the monitor, you can configure and control the following system functions and options:
* Alarms:
- Arm/Disarm alarm Zones.
- Deactivate the acoustic alert and/or associated device that generates an alarm set off.
- Check the status of each of the alarm zones : enabled/disabled.
- Send alarm messages to the guard unit (if there is one).
* Multifunction Button:
- Multifunction button customisation
- Activation of auxiliary devices
* Tune Selection:
- Tone for calls coming from Outdoor Panel.
- Tone for calls coming from Guard Unit
* Adjust Call Volume
* Change User Code
The control and configuration of each of the functions and options listed are explained in the following
sections.
IMPORTANT!!
For greater system security, there is a Master Code that has to be entered by means of the moni-
tor keypad, to access, modify and activate/deactivate the different functions and options of the
Detecta4 and Avisa systems.
The default Master Code is 1234, configurable. We recommend to change the code for enhanced
security (see «Change Master Code» section in this manual).
Every time a code is entered via the monitor keypad, if the code is correct the monitor gives off a
confirmation tone (
