14. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING.
Only qualified specialized personnel, with the requirements demanded in the regulations of the matter
at hand, will be charged to dismantle the equipment. In any case, all the repair work and maintenance will be
carried out only after having disconnected the equipment from the main feeding network. Ensure that it cannot be
connected by accident.
After a long operating time, will arise some difficulty in disassembling the parts in contact with water:
to have access to them, use a suitable product available on the market and, if necessary, an
appropriate extractor.
We do not recommend forcing the parts with unfitting hardware (tools).
14.1 Regular cross-checks
Equipments operating normally do not require any maintenance, except for diesel engines for which the specifications of the diesel
engine maintenance manual must be followed, also cross-check that the battery is well charged and same as for the liquid level.
However it is advisable to carry out regular checks on each pump: for the absorbed power, for the drive pressure with closed mouth
and maximum flow in order to locate within time faults or wears. If it is possible make a scheduled maintenance plan with minimum
cost and with the shortest time of stopping the equipment, running it smoothly and without costly and lengthy repairs.
14.2 Cross-check of the tank's pressure.
To ensure an optimum reliable performance, including the pumps' kickoff and locking frequency, it is essential to regularly check the
pressure of the air load within the accumulator tank (check at least quarterly). As previously stated, the air load must be equal to
the minimum kickoff pressure of the equipment. To proceed to the air load of the tank it must be separated from the rest of the
installation pressure with a separation valve and of course a connection to drain the tank.
15. MODIFICATIONS AND SPARE PARTS.
Any changes made without prior authorization, exempts the manufacturer from any responsibility.
All the spare parts used in the repairs must be original, and all the accessories must be approved by the manufacturer,
in order to be able to guarantee the entire safety of the persons and operators, of the machines and installations that
incorporate pumps.
