(GB) 022-701 Fitting instructions:
1.
Unpack the towing bracket and check its contents against the parts list. If necessary, remove
the underseal from around the fitting points of the luggage compartment / frame members.
2.
Dismount the spare wheel.
3.
Dismount the heat shield of the exhauster.
4.
If you find any rubber plug at the fixing points („a", „b", „e"), remove it.
5.
Place the two accessories (4) into the openings on the rear frame member.
6.
Place the spacers (16) at points "e" into the frame members in both sides into the position as
per the figure.
7.
Place the crossbar (1) under the vehicle. Adjust points "b" of the crossbar to points "a" of the
accessories (4) so that they coincide with each other. Fix them with the attached bonding units
in accordance with the drawing. Do not tighten the bonding units yet.
8.
Loosely fix the crossbar (1) at points „c" to the accessories (4) with the attached bonding units
in accordance with the drawing. Do not tighten the bonding units yet.
9.
Loosely fix the crossbar (1) at points „e" with the attached bonding units in accordance with the
drawing. Take care that the screws should be located in accordance with the drawing!
10. Adjust the towbar into mid-position, and then tighten all the screws:
M10 (8.8) 68 Nm
11. Mount the ball bracket (2), the socket plate (5) at points „d".
After mounting the towing ball tighten the screws.
M16 (8.8) 195 Nm
M12 (10.9) 117 Nm
12. Remount the heat shield of the exhauster, and then the spare wheel.
13. After about 1000 km use, re-tighten the bolts and nuts to the specified torque.

( I ) 022-701 Istruzioni di montaggio:
1.
Aprire l'imballaggio della struttura di traino e controllare il contenutoa fronte dell'elenco
componenti. Se necessario, rimuovere il mastice di protezione intorno ai punti di fissaggio.
2.
Smontare la ruota di scorta.
3.
Smontare la piastra di protezione termica del tubo di scappamento.
4.
Se sui punti di fissaggio („a", „b", „e") si trova un tappo di gomma, rimuoverlo.
5.
Inserire i due accessori (4) nelle fessure situate sull'asse posteriore del telaio.
6.
Inserire i supporti distanziatori nella posizione secondo la figura (16) nei punti „e" in entrambi gli
assi laterali del telaio.
7.
Inserire il blocco del gancio (1) sotto il veicolo. Allineare i punti b" del blocco del gancio ai punti
„a" degli accessori, in modo che essi coincidano. Fissarli con gli elementi di collegamento
inclusi in base al disegno. Non stringere ancora gli elementi di collegamento.
8.
Fissare senza stringere il blocco del gancio (1) nei punti „c" agli accessori 4 con gli elementi di
collegamento inclusi in base al disegno. Non stringere ancora gli elementi di collegamento.
9.
Fissare senza stringere il blocco del gancio (1) nei punti „e", con gli elementi di collegamento
inclusi in base al disegno. Porre attenzione a che le viti vengano collocate secondo il disegno.
10. Regolare il gancio di traino in posizione centrale e poi stringere tutti i bulloni:
M10 (8.8) 68 Nm
11. Montare la consolle del reggisfera (2) ed il portapresa (5) ai punti „d".
Dopo aver montato il reggisfera stringere tutti i bulloni.
M16 (8.8) 195 Nm
M12 (10.9) 117 Nm
12. Rimontare la piastra di protezione termica del tubo di scappamento e poi la ruota di scorta.
13. Verificare il serraggio di tutti i bulloni dopo i primi 1000 Km. di traino.
14. La ACPS Automotive declina ogni responsabilità per errato o imperfetto montaggio del
dispositivo di traino, come pure per uso errato o improprio dello stesso.
15. L'installazione del gancio di traino deve essere effettuata esclusivamente da tecnici
specializzati.
