Seven Mode Spd Module Replacement - Leviton 74000 Serie Instrucciones De Instalación

1. LCD information on status panel will indicate the SPD Modules that need replacement.
2. The following relates the SPD panel catalog series to the quantity and type of SPD Modules
originally used for each mode (L-N, L-G, N-G):
74000/76000/78000: 1 SPD module per mode, 40 mm MOVs
75000/77000/79000: 1 SPD module per mode, 53 mm MOVs
3. Each SPD Module replacement can be ordered with 53 mm or 40 mm MOVs and obtain the
highest maximum surge current rating, or the lower maximum surge current rating, respectively.
By ordering the SPD Module with increased (or decreased) maximum surge current, the SPD
protection can be upgraded (or downgraded). However, you MuST use SPD Modules with the
same voltage rating, else they will not be compatible with your High Current SPD Panel.
4. Obtain replacement SPD modules via special order:
For 120/208 VaC:
For Surge Modules containing 40 mm MOVs with 200 KA maximum surge current, order
catalog # HC120-M40 for L-G, L-N or N-G.
For Surge Modules containing 53 mm MOVs with 320 KA maximum surge current, order
catalog # HC120-M53 for L-G, L-N or N-G.
For 277/480 VaC:
For Surge Modules containing 40 mm MOVs with 200 KA maximum surge current, order
catalog # HC277-M40 for L-G, L-N or N-G.
For Surge Modules containing 53 mm MOVs with 320 KA maximum surge current, order
catalog # HC277-M53 for L-G, L-N or N-G.
For 347/600 VaC:
For Surge Modules containing 40 mm MOVs with 200 KA maximum surge current, order
catalog # HC347-M40 for L-G, L-N or N-G.
For Surge Modules containing 53 mm MOVs with 320 KA maximum surge current, order
catalog # HC347-M53 for L-G, L-N or N-G.
noTE: Each SPD module contains TCO fuses, which are replaced when the new module(s) is
installed.

INNER DOOR.
5. With power disconnected from the High Current SPD Panel, open the outer and inner door.
6. Locate, and remove the SPD module(s) that need replacement.
7. Install the replacement SPD module(s) by pushing it firmly into the mating socket(s).
8. Apply 10 in.-lbs. of torque to each of the 2 screws.
9. Close the inner and outer door panels.
10. Restore power to the High Current SPD Panel.
11. Verify all lines have their green protection indicators illuminated and continue with normal
operation.
