Lines 2 and 3 automatically use the same Date and Time. The date and time will be stored into
memory. Start-Up is now complete.
Conditions Following Start-up:
1. The Green protection indicators on the front panel status display should be illuminated.
2. If during normal operation a Red indicator turns ON (Green indicator turns OFF), open the outer
door and check the surge modules (for that line) and see if the modules green LEDs are OFF. If
any are OFF, then replace the module(s) as soon as possible. If the surge module's green LEDs
are on, then contact a qualified electrician to determine if phase power is applied to the SPD
panel.
3. All "Fault" and "Alert" block indicators should be OFF, which indicates fuses are intact.
noTE: Table 1 & Figure 2 indicate the installation voltages encountered for the SPD Module.

lCD Surge Events: The Status Display memory will store each surge event (up to 999) received
on each line and will display the number of surge events, the amplitude, the date and the time of
occurrence on the LCD. The stored data may be accessed by the user by selecting the Line, then
using the control arrow keys to scroll through the stored surge information. Press "Enter" to exit surge
event search mode.
note: If surge protection is less than 100%, the surge status display will alternate with a percent
protection message (see below).
If there are no surges recorded in the SRAM memory archive, then the display will show the surge
event number and the surge amplitude to be zero (0). The date and time will be current.
If there are any surges recorded in the SRAM memory archive, then the display will show the state of
all lines recorded when the last surge event was detected.
Fault Conditions:
note: During fault conditions, the associated Green indicator(s) (up to 3) on the Status Display will
no longer be illuminated.
alert: Yellow illumination on the Status Display in any line occurs when one, or more, of the Surge
Module fuses are open. Consider replacement of the affected Surge Module, depending upon
the Percent Protection indicated in the Status Display. The percent protection display will
alternate.
Fault: Red illuminator on the Status Display in any line occurs when 50%, or more, of the Surge
Modules fuses are open. The affected Surge Module(s) should be replaced as soon as
possible. The percent protection display will alternate.

Sounds for either an Alert or a Fault condition.
This LCD value is calculated for each line, based upon the number of main
surge boards in that phase and it's functional fuse/SPD circuits.
