TROUBLESHOOTING

This device integrates a default management system.
A series of messages displayed on the control board allows for a fault and anomalies diagnosis.
ANOMALIES AND

« dEF » « 3 » Faulty torch(es) trigger(s) / button(s)
« dEF » « 4 » Foot pedal switch always active or faulty
« E r r » « Co.5 » In automaton mode, a command default is detected.
An overvoltage was detected on the electrical distribution

A voltage unbalance was detected on the electrical distribution

CAUSES
WELDING MACHINE
WELDING MACHINE + COOLING UNIT
SOLUTIONS
Check the internal cabling between the MMI and the
PCB.
Replace the MMI.
Replace the torch.
Replace the pedal and check that the switch is not
stuck.
Check the automaton's cabling.
A power surge is the origin of the message and origi-
nates from a motor overload, lightning...
The installation must be three phase (3P+N+E)
Call your supplier.
Check the connectors between the welding current
source.
Fill the cooling unit's tank.
Check the liquid flow's between the unit and the
torch.
