4 Operating the equipment

Connect the generator to electrical supply and switch it on at the wall socket. Turn the generator
on at the power switch (located on the rear of the generator) and wait.
The generator will perform a system check during which time the water bottle indicators will
illuminate blue then red, the system check LED will flash, and the software version number,
generator serial number and the company banner will be displayed on the LCD.
On completion the generator will revert to the default menu as shown.
The internal pressure ("ACT" pressure) of the generator will build up to the required operating
pressure ("SET" pressure). Once the required pressure is reached, the outlet valve of the
generator will be opened, as indicated by "
supplied to the application instrument.
If the generator is being powered for the first time or if the dryer has just been replaced, it will take approximately one week for the
generator to reach the purity specified.
Note: If the generator has not been powered up for a period of 90 days or more, it will
automatically perform an initialisation sequence on power up.
This sequence, which cannot be aborted, will guarantee the correct hydration of the cell and
operation of the dryer and takes 240 minutes (4 hours) to complete.
On completion press to revert to the default menu and start the generator.
During start-up the generator may revert to the last error mode it experienced. If this occurs press
generator will continue with the start up procedure.
If the error cannot be cleared by this method follow the fault finding procedure in section 6 of this user guide.
Note. The generator will not complete the initialisation sequence if there are any errors present.
When not in use, for example over the weekend, the generator should be left online so as to not interrupt the integral dryer's regeneration
cycle. Any interruption of the dryer's regeneration cycle could reduce the outlet gas quality.
