OPTION 2:
The second option when creating a new
headend consists of reading the configu-
ration of the physical headend. To do so,
the headend is scanned.

First the user must start the session.
The user must carry out a headend scan
using the "Report of the modules connected
to the CDC" option in "Management" (figure
14), indicating the addresses that need to be
scanned.

In the example in figure 14, the headend
controller searches for the addresses indica-
ted, beginning with 1 and ending with 27.
It's important to locate the headend devices
with consecutive addresses in order to faci-
litate the address search.
