Any non-existent address makes the scan-
ning process slower.
When the headend scan has been carried
out, the addresses that have been found are
added to the database of the headend con-
troller element (figure 15). Then the user
must click on the "Charge modules connec-
ted to the CDC" button.

Note: The "Charge modules connected to
the CDC" button works in the following way:
- If the option "Add to the existing" is selec-
ted, then only the devices with addresses
that are not in the headend of the PC are
added to the headend.

- If not, all the PC headend devices except
the CDC are erased and all those in the
physical headend are added.
