INFO
"J•Twin Premium, Amea Twin Premium and J•Sha Active
Twin" are combinati vasca-doccia and they can be installed
in 2 ways:
• with the shower area in a corner (
i
• "mid-wall" (
5a, 6a)
(this version is not provided for J•Sha Active Twin).
As well as the shower area components all models include, taps
and fittings (assembled on the shower area panel), a front panel
and a side panel for the tub.
READ THE INSTRUCTIONS THOROUGHLY BEFORE CAR-
RYING OUT INSTALLATION.
Check for any defects: once the product has been
installed, the guarantee is no longer valid in the event of
damage caused by bumps or abrasion.
Before starting ...
Before carrying out installation make sure that:
I the drain and the connection to the water system have been
prepared (90° 1/2" M elbows; supply pipes Ø: min. 14 mm)
i
(
5÷7a);
IMPORTANT: For the J•Sha Active Twin model for
drainage extra-low syphons must be used; alternatively,
prepare a space for the syphon next to the drainage col-
umn.
I
The pressure values for hot and cold water are well-balanced;
considerable differences in pressure may prevent correct and
rapid adjustment of water temperature.
I the water pressure (dynamics) is in a range from:
min. 1.5 bar – max. 5 bar;
I connection to the electrical system and the earth system have
been prepared for models with hydromassage in the tub, taking
into account the position of the electric wiring box (
for electrical connection, see the "Electric connections and
safety" chapter and related electric diagram.
If the water supply system is equipped with an instant
water heater, check that it has power of not less than 18
kW (250 kCal/min). For gas models, we recommend that
you use models with variable power in relation to the vol-
ume of water drawn off. Do not use hot water accumulators
without pressure.
If hard water is present, it is necessary to install a scale
remover in the water supply system to prevent and/or
reduce the formation of scale. If the water also contains
impurities, we recommend that you install suitable filters on
the connections at floor level, where the flexible hoses from
the taps are connected. Models with thermostatic mixer are
already equipped with filters.

Positioning the tub
I
Remove the tub from the packaging and move it by lifting it up
just by its rim and NEVER by its hosing.
I Position the tub in the designated area, level it at a height of 57
cm from the floor (J•Twin) or 60 cm (Amea Twin - J•Sha) using
i
the feet (
8) and check that the wall is straight (the shower
area wall compensators recover up to 5 mm; higher values can be
recovered with suitable spacers (
Make sure that the central feet also rest on the floor.
In this phase, for "mid-wall" installation with outer cover panel,
the position of the compensator should also be marked, accord-
ing to the dimension shown in
I Mark the points for attaching the feet, move the tub, drill the holes
i
and insert the plugs (
8). Attachment to the floor of the three acces-
sible feet can be carried out (one screw for each foot is sufficient), but
it may be sufficient to attach only the one facing the centre of the room
i
(
25), since the shower area is attached to the wall.
IMPORTANT: before starting to assemble the shower
area, make sure the tub is working correctly and that it is
watertight, especially in spots that are not accessible by
simply removing the front panel.
Assembling the "Water Fan" filler
only for J•SHA ACTIVE TWIN
I Remove the distributor from the tub accessory box and insert
i
the O-rings provided (
I Position the distributor onto the tub rim and attach it to this
using the screws provided.
Fixed glass panel installation
I Take the packet of bolts and screws out of the glass panel
pack.
I Screw the screw peg into the lower part of the glass panel
upright, letting it stick out ~ 20 mm (
I Apply silicone around the 6 holes on the rim of the tub (detail
2); put a line of silicone between the last 2 holes (detail 2a) and
along the edge of the glass panel upright, next to the screw peg
(detail 1).
The use of neutral (not acetic) silicone is recommended.
I Put the glass panel into position on the rim of the tub, so that
the corresponding holes match up and the screw peg (previously
attached) goes into the corresponding hole (detail 2a); then fasten
the glass panel to the tub with the screws, washers and nut
marked with the letters "A" and "B".
I Apply silicone to the end cover (detail 3), insert it into the lower
profile of the glass panel and then attach the screw and washer
marked with the letter "C".
