4. MOUNT CUSTOM HOOD INTERNAL FRAMEWORK
The wood hood must be positively secured to wall studs or other wooden framework behind the drywall.
Make sure it is capable of supporting its own weight and the weight of the CP45I, CP47I or CP47E. Failure
to do so may cause personal injury or damage to countertop or cooktop.
The CP45I, CP47I and CP47E power pack is supported by the custom hood internal framework with screws provided in parts bag.
Since the CP45I, CP47I and CP47E power pack mounting holes are located in
front and rear sides (see illustration beside), plan to install wood frame at front
and sides for support.
5. REMOVE
EVOLUTION™ HYBRID
Remove tape on filters. Remove filters from power pack and set aside.
It is recommended to start with the center one(s).
6. REMOVE GREASE DRIP RAIL
A. Lift grease drip rail to disengage it from
the bottom panel.
B. Slide grease rail all the way to the left or

right (
) and lift the opposite end to
disengage the other end from the bottom

panel (
). Remove it from the power
pack and set aside for later use.
7. REMOVE THE BOTTOM PANEL
Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove both bottom panel
retaining screws and set aside.
