INFO! The pump is provided with dry run protection. Testing
the motor dry will lead to continuous starts and stops. A
continuous operation will be possible only if pumping liquid
and after having bled the system completely.
CAUTION! Damage to the device caused by water leaking!
The pump is delivered brand new with the isolation valve
open (Fig. 5). Shut the isolation valve before releasing
the locking ring by turning the slot with a screwdriver in a
position perpendicular to the direction of the flow (Fig. 6).
CAUTION! Damage to bearings caused by dry running!
Flush completely the pipework and bleed it afterwards.
CAUTION! Do not damage the housing gasket. Replace
the gasket if damaged.
CAUTION! When fitting the gasket, place it onto the motor
head and not onto the pump housing.
8. Put the pump head back on and tighten the locking ring
with a torque of approx. 20 Nm.
9. Fit the insulation shell
10. Open the isolation valve slowly and fill/prime the pump.
7 Electrical connection
1. Connect the cable ends either to the power supply
terminals or to a suitable plug.
2. Plug in the plug into the socket.
3. Turn on power supply, where necessary. The pump will
run immediately.
