IMPORTANT: The instruction manual you are holding includes essential information on the safety measures to be implemented for
installation and start-up. Therefore, the installer as well as the user must read the instructions before beginning installation and start-up.
Keep this manual for future reference.
To achieve optimum performance of the Brick Light, follow the instructions provided below:
1. VERIFY THE CONTENTS OF THE PACKING:
The following accessories are included inside the box:
Housing body
Brick light unit
Installation and maintenance manual
2. GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS:
This Brick light has been designed to be used fully submerged underwater in swimming pools of fresh water. It is a Class III electric apparatus
with very low safety voltage (12V with alternating current).
The Brick light compiles with IPX8 degree of protection (resistance to penetration of dust, solid bodies and humidity).
This Brick light compiles with international safety standards for lights, especially the EN 60598-1
The manufacturer is not responsible in any circumstances for assembly, installation or start-up of any electric components which have been
inserted or handled at locations other than its own premises.
3. INSTALLATION:
a Use the niche as guide for the concrete. For other materials (wood, etc), if the model is circular do a hole of 110mm of diameter and if the
model is squared do a hole of 105x105 mm. Insert the niche and to fill in the spaces with a product adequate for the material.
b Some 160 mm below the level of the ground, there must be a layer of 40mm of a material that allows the drainage of water (gravel, for
example).
c Introduce the Brick light, do that the cable arrives to the electrical power network, and leave over some 50cm of cable rolled up below Brick
light for future uses in the deep (Fig. 2).
d Fix the Brick light to the niche with silicone or filler that does not attack the glass chemically.
Warning: when the electrical joint is inside the niche, it is recommended to use the Kit Vulcanizado code 35661

4. CONTROL SYSTEMS OF THE LED LAMP:
The LED lamp can be controlled in two different ways: either by a normally closed pushbutton or by means of the modulator receiver and/or
remote control
In both cases, you should make sure that the voltage received by the lamp is never more than 12V.
The lamp is supplied with heat protection, which in the event of excess temperature reduces the lighting level to avoid overheating.
4.1. COLORPLUS ECO: pushbutton control
The system has 14 operation modes: 7 set colours and 7 sequences of different colours (see section 4.1.2.) The colour or sequence is changed
by a quick press of the pushbutton. The lamp/s is/are placed in white if the pushbutton is pressed for longer.
4.1.1. Electrical connection diagram
The COLORPLUS ECO system is composed of the Brick light/s, the transformer
and the normally closed (NC) pushbutton.
The system COLORPLUS ECO, with the supplied pushbutton, can connect a
maximum of 65 Brick lights
The transformer must be able to supply 10VA for each led lamp connected. For
example, if you want to control 5 lamps, you must connect them in parallel to a
transformer of at least 50VA. The pushbutton must be able to withhold the power
consumed by the number of lamps installed.
