INSTRUCTION MANUAL VOSS.FARMING SUNNY 800
Info
► The mounting post also serves as grounding for the energiser.
► Align the energiser so that the solar panel faces south in the northern
hemisphere or north in the southern hemisphere.
Recommendations for further grounding
The correct grounding of your energiser is extremely important! Only then will
your fence work correctly and reach its full performance. You should choose a
damp and overgrown place for earthing. It is generally advised to use galvanised
metal rods with a minimum length of 75 cm. For dry soils and long fences, place
additional ground poles at intervals of about 2–3 m to improve the grounding.
We recommend Art: 33615 as the connection cable between the grounding rods.
If you ensure sufficient grounding, the VOSS.farming Sunny will reach its full
performance and you will achieve the best possible fence security.
7.3
CONNECTING TO THE ELECTRIC FENCE
NOTICE
Ensure that the cables on the electric fence energiser are routed downwards to
prevent water from collecting on the connections.
1. Drive an additional 1 m grounding rod almost completely into the ground.
2. Connect the black cable to the grounding terminal (4) on the energiser and the
grounding rod.
3. Connect the red cable to the fence terminal (5) of the energiser and the fence.
The electric fence energiser is connected to the fence.

OPERATION
8.1
SWITCHING ON AND OFF
Turn the energiser on using the ON/OFF switch (1).
The LED (3) lights up in sync with the pulse output.
NOTICE
► If the LED does not light up then it means the energiser is either switched off,
the battery is flat or the energiser is defective.
► If no impulse is given and the LED flashes very quickly, the battery must be
recharged. The deep discharge protection has been activated.
