instructions for future reference
1. The steel parts and the plastic parts of the
safety seat should be attached as shown in
the manual, to make sure that the safety seat
does not get caught in the vehicle seats or
doors.
2. The straps that fasten the seat to the vehi-
cle should be tight. The straps that secure the
child should be fitted to the child's body snugly
and must not be twisted.
3. Any lap belt used to hold the child's pelvis
securely, should be low down and taut.
4. This seat must not be used if it has been
subjected to extreme strain in an accident.
5. It is dangerous to make any alterations or
additions to the safety seat without the ap-
proval of the certifying authority. It is also haz-
ardous to disregard any aspect of the installa-
tion instructions provided by the child safety

seat manufacturer.
6. The seat should be kept out of direct sun-
light, otherwise it may become too hot for the
child's skin.
7. Do not leave the child unattended in the
child safety seat.
8. Any luggage or other objects that could
cause injury in the event of a collision must be
correctly secured.
9. a: The child safety seat should not be used
without its cover.
b: The seat cover must not be replaced by a
different one that has not been recommend-
ed by the manufacturer, as it is integral to the
performance of the child safety seat.
10. The instructions should be kept in the child
safety seat during its useful life.
11. Do not use any load bearing contact point
other than the one in the instructions and
marked on the child safety seat.
12. The rigid elements and plastic parts of the
