4.3.2 Loading fiber

1.- Open the wind cap to repost the fiber holder; "Load fiber" is displayed on the
screen.
2.- Open the fiber holder separately ,Load cleaved fiber into V-groove, and the end-
surface couldn't touch the bottom of V-groove, consult figure 5 (a)~(b).
After performing the operations 1) 2) correctly, the clamps down and close the
cover and is complete the placement of fiber optics. At this time the screen displays the
image in Figure 6. The radial distance between the two optical fibers should be less
than the radius (R) fiber to adjust the alignment. If the radial distance between the left
and right fiber is too large and exceeds the range of adjustment, the merger does not
work properly. In this case, users should relocate the fiber or use special tools to
remove dirt from the V-groove.
