WARNING: Once the cleaning cycle
in thermodisinfector has been completed,
the handpiece keeps the washing tempera-
ture for a long time. When removing the
handpiece from the thermodisinfector take
proper measures to avoid damages for the
user.
CAUTION: Due to its shape, the hand-
piece can roll. For this reason, when it is
not in use, it shall always be placed on its
support.
Lay the accessories in a metallic tray.
Connect the suitable adapter (supplied as
optional) to the handpiece cord connector
and then to the cleaning water jet
connections of the washer/disinfector.
Repeat the same step for the inserts and
for the peristaltic pump tubes, connecting
them to the suitable adapters. (suuplied as
optional).
Sequence and parameters applicable to
the cycle:
CLEANING
- 1 min, Pre-washing with cold water;
- 5 min, Washing with alcaline detergent at
55°C ±2°C;
- 1 min, Neutralization with proper solution
(1/3 cold water, 2/3 warm water);
- 1 min, Rinsing with water (1/3 cold water,
2/3 warm water);
DISINFECTION

demineralized water.
The automated thermodisinfection was
not experimentally tested. According to

thermodisinfection at a temperature of
90°C for 5min determines an A0 value of
3000.
