● Shut off the domestic cold water inlet and drain the tank. To drain via
the safety unit, set the unit to the drain position and open one hot water
tap (or one drain tap) to allow air in.
1 Remove the protective cover.
2 Disassemble the flange + thermostat + immersion heater assembly by
unscrewing the 6 nuts (5).
3 Check and replace the anode and its seal (6) if necessary.
● Remove limescale deposits in the form of sludge or flakes from the
bottom of the tank.
The exchanger must be descaled, where necessary, to guarantee optimal
performance.
4 Refit the parts and replace the sealing gasket on the flange, being
careful to remember the grounding wire (7) when refitting.

Warnings:

The torque given for the screws in the inspection hatch must not
be exceeded:
1.3 daN. This value may be obtained approximately by holding
the box spanner by the small lever.

Do not touch the limescale adhering to the walls of the tank as it
provides effective protection against corrosion and improves the
insulation of the water heater.
● Check the tank seal after refitting.
● Commission the unit following the instructions in chapter 6.
