Tubing with Button to Roof Frame
Gather (Quantity):
(2) Swedged Tubing with Button
(2) Top Center Brace Clamps
(2) Bottom Center Brace Clamps
(4) Small Carriage Bolts
(4) Nuts
1.
Take the two swedged tubing with button
and insert one into the open end of each of
the clamps so that the button is facing the
ground. Insert the swedged end of each tube
into the tubes with holes on the roof frame.
Kennel with 10 ft. wide panels: Insert the tube until the button comes through the 1st hole.
Kennel with 5 ft. wide panels: Insert the tube until the button comes through the 2nd hole.

Take one top center brace clamp, one bottom center brace clamp, two small carriage bolts and two
nuts. Loosely attach the top and bottom clamps to the center top rail on one side of the kennel (4A).
The opening for the tube should be facing the inside of the kennel. Repeat this step on the opposite
side with the remaining clamps, bolts and nuts.
5 ft. wide panel note: Pay careful attention to location of center frame assembly in order
to match positions of the center brace clamps. The locking buttons should face down, away
from the tarp.

Once the frame is completely assembled, tighten all of the clamps.

Fit the Tarp on the Roof Frame

Gather (Quantity):
Tarp

Unfold the tarp and turn it right side up.
2.
Start on the inside of the kennel. Place the tarp over the roof frame
on one end of the kennel. Fit the grommet located at the peak
of the SunBlock panel onto the plastic pin on the elbow (5A).
Repeat this step on the opposite side and ensure that the grommets
properly fi t on the elbow pins.
3.
Drape the sides of the tarp on the outside of the kennel side panels.

Secure the Tarp to the Kennel

(4) Ball Bungee Cords
(15) Cable Ties
1.
Attach one ball bungee cord to each of the four sides of the kennel at the corners. Fit the ball bungee
cord through the grommets on the tarp and around the mesh or chain link of the kennel. Be sure that
the fi t is tight.
2.
Attach the sides of the tarp and the SunBlock panels to the kennel using the cable ties. Attach each
cable tie through a tarp grommet and the wire mesh (tarp sides) and top rail (SunBlock panel). Once
all of the cable ties are in place, tighten them and snip off any excess using the wire cutters. Save any
remaining cable ties for future use.
