3. Maintenance of the spark plug
Recommended spark plug: A7RC or NGK R7HSA
To ensure the engine to work in good order, the clearance of the spark plug
must be correct, and has no accumulated charcoal.
11. Dismantle the repair cover of the spark plug (Fig. A).
12. Dismantle the cap of the spark plug.
13. Clean out the filth around the base of the spark plug.
14. Dismantle the spark plug with a spanner.

15. Examine the spark plug with your naked eyes. If the insulator has crazed or
has fragments, you should discard the spark plug. If the old spark plug needs to
be used continually, you must clean it up with a brush.
16. Measure the clearance of the spark plug with a gauge. The clearance
should be 0.6mm to 0.7mm.
