Pump must be earthed in compliance with regulations.
●
For pumps that are installed for stationary use, the metal pump housing must also be
earthed in accordance with EN 50014. Attach the protective conductor connection (as com-
pliant with EN 60335) to the drill hole labelled with the earth symbol (
handle using a suitable screw, nut, tooth lock washer and standard washer.
●
Use a cable with diameter of min. 2.5 mm² to 6 mm², or follow the local regulations, to con-
nect the protective conductor connection.
●
We also advise you to use a residual current operating device.
●
The switch box for the pump(s) should be obtained as an accessory.
ATTENTION!
P2 ≤ 3.8 kW: direct starting
●
P2 ≥ 3.9 kW: star delta starting
●
●
The provisions laid down by your local energy supplier will determine the threshold between
direct and star delta starting.
●
Motor safety switch (set to the nominal pump motor current indicated on the rating plate).
●
A standard measuring appliance can be used to switch the thermal winding contact (WSK)
for the thermal monitoring of the motor.
Recommended level: 24 V DC.
●
