3 | Safety

3.1 | Intended use

The multimeter is used for measuring and displaying electrical
values in the CAT II measurement category (up to 500 V max.
against earth potential, in accordance with EN 61010-1). It
performs the functions of a voltmeter (for measuring DC and AC
voltages up to 500 V), an ammeter (up to 10 A), an ohmmeter and
the test function for diodes and transistors. It is thus suitable for
tracing electrical circuit faults, both on motorcycles and in the
home.
The multimeter must only be used as described in these
instructions. Any other use is considered improper use and can
result in material damage. The manufacturer and supplier accept
no liability for damage caused by improper or incorrect use.
