- Insert the premounted kick starter shaft and hook the kick starter spring
(1) (included) into the hole (2).
- Position the Kick-Start idler (3) (included).
- Mount the stop disk 17.2x24x1 (4) (included) and secure with the lock
ring DIN0471-17X1 (5) (included).
- Mount the kick starter lever and check the function of the shaft (Figure
A).
Hold the gear wheels to prevent them from disengaging from their mounting
when the kick starter is turned.
- Remove the kick starter lever again.
- Apply a small amount of grease to position (B) and position the stop disk
17.2x24x1 (6) (included).
- Thoroughly clean the sealing area (C).
- Remove the lock ring (7) and take off the cover (8).
- Press in the shaft seal ring 17x28x7 (9) (included) and grease the shaft
seal ring.
- Slide the outer clutch hub (10) onto the gearbox main shaft. Turn the oil
pump gear (11) until the gearing of the outer clutch hub engages.
- Slide on the stop disk (12) and inner clutch hub (13).
- Position the new tab washer (14) (included) and mount the nut (15). Hold
the inner clutch hub (13) using special tool 59029003100 and tighten
the nut (100Nm, Loctite 243).
- Secure the nut with the tab washer (14).
