- Mount the O-ring 25x3 NBR70 (included) in the groove on the starter cover
(1) (included).
- Mount the starter cover (1) (included) with washer 6.4x18x1.6 (2) and hex
collar screw M6x8 (3) (included) (10Nm, Loctite243).
- Use the new ignition cover gasket (4) (included) and position the ignition
cover (5).
- Use the new torque limiter gasket (6) (included) and position the torque
limiter cover (7).
- Mount and tighten the screws of the ignition cover and torque limiter cover.
A 2x hex collar screws M6x50 (10Nm)
B 2x hex collar screws M6x35 (10Nm)
C 2x hex collar screws M6x90 (10Nm)
D 1x hex collar screw M6x30 (10Nm)
E 1x hex collar screw M6x25 (10Nm)
Final steps for Sport and Race Kick-Start Kits
- Mount the air filter.
- Mount the filter box cover.
- Mount the seat.
- Fill up with cooling water (Figure F) (see the Owner's Manual).
- Remove the screw (8) and mount the screw again with the washer.
Check that all control elements are functioning properly.
Check the oil level.
