- Remove the screws of the ignition cover (1) and set the ignition cover aside
(Figure A).
- Remove the rotor screw (2).

- Mount the tool (3) (protection cap for crankshaft 75029090000).
- Mount the special tool (4) (puller 58012009000) on the rotor.
- Hold with the special tool and pull of the rotor (5), starter idler gear (6)
and freewheel gear (7) by screwing in the screw.

- Remove the bearing pin (8).
- Remove the starter (9).

- Remove the needles (10) and springs (11) from the rotor.
NOTE:
Keep the needles and springs in a safe place in case the vehicle is changed
back to E-start.

- Position the rotor (12).
- Mount the rotor screw (13) (70Nm).
