ATTENTION: Read these instructions manual carefully before using
the pressure cooker. Keep them safe with your purchase receipt and
if possible the original packaging for any future references.
Always read the following basic safety measures before using your pressure cooker:
1. Read all the instructions carefully before use.
2. Never touch hot surfaces. Only hold the pressure cooker by the lid handle and/or side grips.
3. Special attention and close supervision is necessary when the pressure cooker is used near
children.
4. Never place the pressure cooker in a heated oven.
5. Read (Section 7) before using the pressure cooker on a burner.
6. Always use extreme caution when handling your pressure cooker, especially when it
contains hot liquids.
7. Never use the pressure cooker for anything other than its intended used.
8. This appliance cooks under pressure. Improper use may result in serious and scalding injuries.
Ensure the cooker is properly closed before operating. (See section 10).
9. Do not fill the unit over 2/3 of its full capacity. When cooking foods that expand during cooking
such as rice or dried vegetables, do not fill the unit over 1/2 full. Over filling may cause a
risk of clogging the vent pipe and developing excess pressure. (See section 8)
10. Be aware that certain foods, such as applesauce,cranberries, pearl barley, oatmeal or other
cereals, split peas, noodles, macaroni, rhubarb, or spaghetti can foam, froth and sputte, and
clog the pressure release device (steam vent). These foods should not be cooked in a
pressure cooker.
11. Always check the pressure release devices for clogging and maintenance before use.

12. Do not open the pressure cooker until it has cooled down and the internal pressure has been
released. If the handles are difficult to be pushed apart, this indicates that the cooker is still
pressurized . Do not force it for opening. Any pressure in the cooker can be hazardous. (See
section 12)
13. This pressure cooker must not be used for frying with oil under pressure.
14. Follow the instructions for cleaning and care after each use. (See section 13)
15. After normal cooking pressure has been reached, reduce the heat so that all the liquid inside
the cooker does not escape as steam. (See section 11)
