5. The safest place for your baby is the rear of your
vehicle, however if you need to install this car seat
in the front passenger seat, please ensure that any
airbag is deactivated.
6. Only use a forward-facing seat that is fitted with a
3-point safety belt that complies with the ECE R16
standard.
7. Make sure the car safety belt buckle runs in a
straight line and stays below the belt hook of this
car seat.
8. The car safety belt must be threaded tight along
all blue markings. For a proper installation, check
the instruction in this manual and the sticker on
the side of this car seat.
9. Always cover this car seat when exposed to direct
sunlight in the car. Otherwise, the cover, metal and
plastic parts could become too hot for your child's
skin.

In aeroplanes
• Installation of this car seat on an aircraft seat

differs from the installation on a car seat.
• Installing this car seat with a 2-point safety belt is
only allowed when used in an aircraft.
• In an aircraft, this car seat may only be used on
forward-facing passenger seats.
• The belt buckle must not be positioned within the
belt guiding of this car seat. Otherwise a safe
attachment does not exist.
• This car seat mest remain belted on the aircraft
seat, even when unoccupied.
• This car seat is only for use on an aircraft seat
authorized by the airline.
• The safety of your child for not complying with the
installation and instruction manual is not
guaranteed.
Maintenance instructions
1. The cover, cushions and belt pads of this car seat
can be removed in order for these to be cleaned.
They can be machine-washed.
2. Only use the official cover as this is an integral part
of the safety.
3. Keep this car seat clean. Do not use lubricants or
aggressive cleaning agents.

Keep all plastic packaging materials out of reach of
your child to avoid the risk of suffocation.
