Video Recorder

This menu is used to setup all the Video recorder options, such as Time
lapse modes, recording speeds, and VCR type.

Aux Input use

The Auxiliary input can be configured for a number of uses:
VEXT (VCR Signal)* Allows the multiplexer to acquire its
Time lapse mode information directly from
the VCR (default).
End of tape signal
Indicates that the VCR has no tape loaded
or the tape has ended.
Global alarm
Provides the multiplexer with a global
alarm input, which on alarm will close the
alarm relay. Recording then continues at the alarm record speed.
None
The input is not used.
*Note: If the VEXT (VCR Signal) is used in conjunction with the relevant connection to the VCR, the "VCR type", "VCR
record speed" and "Alarm record speed" settings are all automatically setup and should not be altered.

Tape replay format

The System Sprite is capable of replaying tapes recorded on DM (Dedicated Micros),default, and Robot type multiplexers.

Video source

Composite
The default video source is composite, which is supported by all VCR's.
S-VHS
A S-VHS VCR can be connected using the S-VHS connectors and selecting the S-VHS option.
