=WAY SAWDUST REMOVAL (Fig. 18)
3ur sabre saw is equipped with 2-way sawdust removal system. Push the vacuum/blower
lob to blower to blow debris away from the cutting area, or attach the vac adapter tube
',ee Fig. 18) to a wet/dry vac hose with a 11/2-inch adapter, all sold separately. The vac
:lapter tube will attach to either side of the base to accommodate bevel cutting or
owing the debris away from the operator.
• Unplug the saw.

Switch the vacuum/blower knob to the "BLOWER" position to blow the sawdust, metal
and plastic chips away from the cutting area. No wet/dry vac is needed for this position.
Switch the vacuum / blower switch (see Fig. 18) to the "VACUUM" position• Connect the
saw's vacuum adapter to a Craftsman ® wet/dry vac (sold separately) to vacuum up
debris such as sawdust, metal and plastic chips•

,Iways place the best or "finished" side of your workpiece "face down" so it does not
