OPERATION
• If using a powdered detergent, remove the
liquid detergent cup and put the powder in the
main wash detergent compartment.
3.
Close the detergent dispenser drawer slowly
before starting the cycle.
NOTE
• Use the appropriate amount of detergent.
Too much detergent may cause an overflow
into another compartment or pouring into the
drum earlier than programmed.
• It is normal for a small amount of water to
remain in the dispenser compartments at the
end of the cycle.
• If you use a detergent that does not dissolve
easily or a detergent with high viscosity, it will
leave a residue and may clog on the dispenser.
Adding Fabric Softener
Add the fabric softener into the fabric softener
compartment (
). Fabric softener is dispensed
automatically during the final rinse cycle.
NOTE
• Do not exceed the manufacturer's
recommendations when adding the fabric
softener into the fabric softener compartment.
Overfilling can cause early dispensing of the
fabric softener, which may stain clothes. Close
the dispenser drawer slowly.
• Either powdered or liquid fabric softener may
be used.
• Do not leave the fabric softener in the
detergent drawer for more than 2 days (Fabric
softener may harden).
• Softener will automatically be added during
the last rinse cycle.
• Do not open the drawer when water is being
supplied into the washing machine.
• Solvents (benzene, etc.) must not be used.
• Do not pour fabric softener directly onto the
garments, as this may cause stains on your
clothing.
• Dilute concentrated fabric softeners with warm
water.
Adding Liquid Bleach
Add the liquid bleach into the liquid bleach
compartment (
). Liquid bleach is dispensed
automatically at the proper time during the wash
cycle.
NOTE
• The bleach compartment is designed to
dispense liquid bleach only. Do not add
powdered bleach to this compartment.
• Always follow the manufacturer's
recommendations when adding bleach. Never
add more than one cup and do not exceed the
maximum fill line. Overfilling can cause the
bleach to be dispensed immediately, result in
damage to fabrics.
• Never pour undiluted liquid chlorine bleach
directly onto the laundry or into the drum.
Fabric damage can occur.
