ISO DDIN radio provision
1. Attach the appropriate spacer (see Legend) between
the radio housing and the radio brackets, aligning the
holes in the radio housing to the clips on the radio
brackets. (Figure A)
2. Slide the radio in the completed assembly, and then secure
using the screws supplied with the radio. (Figure B)
3. Locate the factory wiring harness and antenna connector
in the dash. Metra recommends using the proper mating
adapter from Metra or AXXESS. Re-connect the negative
battery terminal and test the radio for proper operation.
4. Reassemble the dash in reverse order of disassembly.
Legend
• For the Hyundai Sonata 1995-2001, Hyundai Tiburon
(with double DIN radio) 1997-2002, and the Hyundai
Santa Fe 2001-2006 vehicles, use the provided thick
spacers.
• For the Elantra (with double DIN radio) 1996-2000
vehicles, use the provided thin spacers.
• The spacers will need to be removed from the shipping bar.
