Evacuation is conducted as follows:
1. Check that rEsq dd™ is in lanyard arrestor position with winder retracted.
2. Attach the equipment by/in an approved anchor point in compliance with EN 795
or equivalent to a breaking force of 12 kN, recommended one metre above the
descent point. Ensure that the intended descent route is free from obstacles that
might hinder the descent process.
When carrying out this task - anchoring - the operator/user must always use fall
protection equipment fixed to a safe and secure anchor point.

3. Throw the sack with the lanyard down to the final descent point if this is possible,
and can be accomplished in a responsible manner. Alternatively the sack can be
taken down by the first evacuee.
