8 cun above the lateral malleolus, one finger's width next to point S 38 (8 cun beneath the knee joint gap on
the connecting line to S 41) in the flesh between the shin bone and calf bone
Shu point
V 21 (weishu/Inductorium stomachi)
1.5 cun lateral to the medial line of the body directly beneath the spine of the 12th thoracic vertebra (space
between the 12th thoracic vertebra and 1st lumbar vertebra)
Mu point
Rs 12 (zhongwan/Conquisitorium stomachi)
4 cun above the navel on the medial line of the body
The points of the spleen-(pancreas)meridian (zou tai yin)
Concentration point
L 2 (dadu/Urbs magna)
Distal to the basal joint of the big toe on the medial side of the big toe on the border between red and white
flesh
Dispersion point
L 5 (shangqiu/Monticulus tali)
In an indentation 0.5 cun distal to and 0.5 cun anterior to the inner malleolus

R 1 (yongquan/ Fons scatens)
On the sole of the foot in an indentation between the proximal joint of the 2nd and 3rd toes approximately at
the intersection of the front and center thirds of the sole of the foot. On the tip of the angle which occurs by pres-
sing the metatarsal bone together somewhat.
