Mount via bore holes in the housing for M4 screws or with BT 320 mounting
brackets or the BTU 320M-D12 mounting system (see the operating instructions,
Chapter "Ordering information and accessories").

Mount the device on a metal mounting bracket.
NOTICE
Degree of protection IP65 is achieved only if the connectors and caps
are screwed into place.
Electrical connection

Before connecting the device, please ensure that the operating
voltage matches the value printed on the nameplate.
Ä
Ensure that the functional earth (FE) is connected correctly. Fault-
free operation is only guaranteed if the functional earth is con-
nected properly.

If faults cannot be rectified, take the device out of operation. Pro-
tect the device from accidentally being started.
NOTICE
Shielding connection!
The shielding is connected via the M12 connector housing.

UL applications!
For UL applications, use is only permitted in Class 2 circuits in accor-
dance with the NEC (National Electric Code).
