Changing OH
Changeengineoil after firsttwo hoursof operationand every 25 hours
thereafter,
in order to changeoil, youwill haveto first drain theused engineoil
fromthe engine andthen refillwith fresh oil
1, Drainoil whileengine is warm,Removeoil drain plug locatedat
the bottomof the recoilstarterof the engine,Catchoil in a suitable
container,
2, Whenengineis drainedof all oil, replacedrain plugsecurely,
3, Removethedipstickfrom the oil fill, For locationof the oil fill, see
Figure13,Pourfresh oil slowlythroughthe plug, Replacedipstick,
4, Checkand makesurethat the levelof oil is up to the FULLmarkon
the dipstick,
NOTE:Althoughmulti_viscosity o ils (5W30,10W30,etc,)improve
startingin cold weather,they couldalso resultin higheroil consump-
tion whenusedabove320R Checkyoursnowthrower'sengineoil
levelmorefrequentlyto avoidpossibleenginedamagefrom running

(O,76mm) i f necessary,
NOTE:A resistorspark plugmust be usedfor replacement, C ontacta

The augersare securedto the spiralshaftwith two shear pinsand
cotterpins, See Figure16,if you hit a foreignobiect or iceiam, the
snowthroweris designedso that the pins willshear,
1, if the augersdo notturn, checkto see if the pins havesheared,
2, Replacethe pins if needed,Two replacement s hearpinsand
cotterpins havebeen providedwith the snowthrower,Sprayan oil
lubricantintoshaft beforeinsertingnewpinsand securingwith new
cotterpins, See Figure16,
IMPORTANT:NEVERreplacethe auger shearpinswith standard
pins, Anydamageto the augergearboxor othercomponents,as
a resultof doing so, will NOTbe coveredby yoursnow thrower's
warranty,

nutswhich attachshaveplateto the snowthrowerhousing,See

2, Reassemble newshaveplate,makingsure headsof the carriage
boltsare to the insideof the housing,Tightensecurely,Re-install
skid shoes,
