This item is fastenedwith a cabletie to the rear of the augerhousing
at the factory,Cut the cabletie beforeoperatingthe snow thrower,To
use:
1, Releaseboththe augercontroland the drive/augercontrollock,
2, Stopthe engineby movingthe throttleto the stop position,
3, Removetheclean-outtool fromthe mountingclip, See Figure7,
4, Use theshovel-shapedend of theclean-outtool to removeany
snowand icein the chuteassembly,
5, Re-fastenthe clean-outtool to the mountingclip on the rear of the
augerhousingand restartengine,
6, Whilestandingin the operator'sposition(behindthesnow thrower),
engagethe augercontrolfor a few secondsto clearany remaining
snowor ice from thechute assemblybeforecontinuingto clear
snow,
