Adjusting Forward-Reverse
Stitch Balance
Differences in stitch density between the right
and left sides of the buttonhole lforward and
reverse stitching) are equalized by adjusting the
reverse-stitch pus h bunon. A very slight
rotat ion of the button will produce a noticeable
change.
1. Make a test buttonhole with the pus h
button in neutral posi tion lindicator dor
d ireetly below .... symbol on control
panell.
2. If the stitches on the right side of the
bunonhole are toe open, rotate the push
bunon clockwise from its neutra I position
to inaease density of stitching.
3. If the st itches on the left side of the
buttonhole are toe open, rotate the push
button counterclockwise from its neutra I
position to increase density of stitching.
Aftar bunonhole stitching is completed, return
push bonon to its neutra I posítion (indicator
dot direetly below .... symbol on control
panell.
