Connectlng Machlne
Before plugging in your mechine. be sure that
the voltage and number of cycles indicated on
the eleetrical nameplate A conform to your
electrical power supply.
If your speed controller cord has a motor
disconnect plug, push plllll B imo the receptacle
at the right end of mechine. Then connect plug
C to your socket outlet.
I·f the speed controller cord is wired directly to
the motor, limply conneet plugC to your
socket outlet.
CAUTION: Disconneet the power line plug
from the socket outlet when changing needles,
feet. or needle plates or when leaving the
mechine unattended. This eliminates the
possibility of atarting the mechine by
accidenta lIy pressing the speed contro lIer.
If your mechine has a sewing light switch, pr_
or tum switch on the mechine,

To run the mechine and control speed, pre.
the lpeed controller D with your foot, The
harder Vou press, the faster the mechine will
sew. To stop mechine. remove foot
frorn
controller.
CAUTION: Because of the up and down
movement of the needle, vou must work
carefully and watch the sewing area when
operating the mechine.
