8. Taking a picture
• Press the shutter release all the way down to take the picture.
Hold the camera still for another 2 seconds after pressing the
shutter release to achieve a blur-free picture.
Once the picture has been taken, it will appear for a few seconds on the
display panel.
• If you want to delete the picture immediately after taking it, press the
DELETE key.
• Then from the dialogue box, using the UP/DOWN keys, select the YES
entry and confirm with OK to delete the picture.
NOTE:
In certain circumstances, the automatic focus could fail for the
following reasons:
- when taking a picture through a sheet of glass.
- when taking a picture of objects with little colour contrast (sky, white
walls, etc.).
- when two different objects are a great distance from the image
section (if the camera focuses on the wrong object)
- for subjects that only have horizontal lines.
