Remote inlet installation for wet conditions
In high-moisture environments, environments with corrosive gases or locations where there is a
possibility of submersion, install the bubbler air inlets in a dry location. Attach tubing to the inlet ports
on the desiccant cartridges or move the desiccant cartridges to a dry location for easy maintenance
access.
1. To install remote inlet tubing, complete the steps that follow.
a. Attach a length of 9.5-mm (3/8-in.) ID tubing to each air inlet port on the desiccant cartridges.

b. Put the other ends of the tubing in a dry location. Make sure that the open ends of the tubing
stay down so that moisture, condensation or precipitation do not enter the tubes. Refer to
Figure
7.
2. To install the desiccant cartridges remotely:
a. Remove the desiccant cartridges.
b. Attach a length of 3-mm (1/8-in.) ID tubing to the 3-mm (1/8-in.) barbed fittings on the bubbler.

c. Attach the other end of the tubing to the 3-mm (1/8-in.) barbed fittings on the desiccant
cartridges.
d. Install the desiccant cartridges in a nearby dry location. Make sure that the open ends of the
cartridges stay down so that moisture, condensation or precipitation do not enter the
cartridges. Refer to
