Route Cables and Complete Wiring

1 Press the green/yellow ground wire, and then the
communication cable firmly into the cable routing
channel next to the communications interface
cartridge.
CAUTION! Communication errors may occur if
both the RJ11 and Direct Connect or External
Modem cables are connected simultaneously.
Install a single communication cable only.
2 Connect the end of the DTC-LXM ground wire
(green/yellow) to the Ground Spade located on the
terminals above the transformer.

Adjust the communication cable and ground wire to
ensure that they are not in direct contact with the
transformer.
CAUTION! Ensure that the ground wire and
communications cable do not contact the
transformer directly. Heat from the
transformer may damage the insulation.
4
Remove the slack from the communications cable
and close the front panel.
