LXM-DTC Satellite Controls and
Indicators
The DTC-LXM Communications Interface Cartridge is
installed in the back of the LXM-DTC Satellite Controller
front panel. Light Emitting Diode (LED) lights appear on
the right side of the DTC-LXM Cartridge. These LEDs
provide continuous status updates and illuminate
depending on the configuration of your system. (See
page 19). The Telephone Status LED indicates status of
internal POTS telephone modem communications. The
RS232 Status LED indicates status of external modem
and direct cable connections.
A Reset Button is also provided on the left side of the
cartridge to reset the DTC-LXM. See Diagnostics for
details.
Internal POTS Telephone Modem (LXM-DTC-PR Only)
The LXM-DTC-PR Satellite includes a Hayes-compatible
modem that provides connectivity to telephone systems
in the United States and most foreign countries. It
supports a baud rate of up to 33600 baud in full-duplex
mode.
